On Friday, September 9th Sofia Vaca and Andrés González hosted the workshop titled "Still Struggling for Independence? The Case of Ecuador" in the HistoCon 2022.
The workshop counted with students from Chile, Argentina, Germany, Bielorussia, Egypt, France and Georgia who not only got the opportunity to learn about Ecuador and its process to Independence, but also discuss the different meanings of Independence according to their own perspectives: culture, art, place, celebration or tradition.
The results were amazing, in the upcoming weeks the ideas will be posted on our blog. For now, we share the video presented during the workshop and featuring our student Leonardo Naranjo.
